The Philips Aurea HDTV has been released. The specs state that it's a 1080p at 100 Hz with a 3ms response time. It sizes up to 42-inches, and uses Perfect Pixel HD Engine. It supports 4 Trillion colors and 3 HDMI 1.3 inputs. Its contrast ratio is 550cd/m2 with a true dynamic ratio of 1200:8000.
On the audio front, it has 26 speakers embedded inside in a combination of 24 front mini-drivers, and 2 subwoofers. It features Ambilight frames used in Philips TVs, but this one has 126 LEDs inside the bezel. It is to be launched soon in the European markets; the price is not known as of now.
